Mason and his brother Dixon were found roaming the streets in Maryland. This sweet boy stuck with his brother and led him around safely- Dixon is blind and wouldn't have survived without Mason's help. The boys ended up in the shelter, curled up together in fear. They quickly became favorites of the staff, and it's easy to see why.
Mason was very nervous when he first came into foster care- he was obviously not used to being around nice people and was very shy. In just a short time he grew to trust people, and now he follows his foster mom all over the house and even snuggles with her on the couch. He is good with other dogs but his favorite friends are cats- especially if they don't mind being used as a pillow! Mason loves stuffed toys and having his ears rubbed. He likes to run around the yard and roll on his back to kick in the air. It will take him some time to adjust to a new family, but this sweet, gentle boy is worth the wait!
Mason will require a fenced yard to keep him safe. He is just a little boy who is ready for his forever home- do you have room in your family (and on your lap) for this little sweetheart?
