Message From: Kathleen & Mike Clem July 16, 2013 Thanks so much Carla and Darla for taking care of our Daphne until we found each other...she brings so much joy to our lives! Every time we meet people walking in the park they tell us how beautiful and well behaved our sweet girl is! We've yet to meet someone she couldn't charm...thanks again Tails of Hope! Message From: Kevin June 17, 2013 I adopted my best friend Baxter (formerly named Philip) from TOH 9 years ago... Sadly, I just put my baby down yesterday after a long battle with cancer. I am forever grateful to TOH for bringing him into my life - he was the greatest dog and I am happy to make a donation to your excellent work in his memory. TOH saved him 9 years ago and in doing so provided him (and me) with a great long life full of love and happy memories. Thank you TOH for bringing me this great source of joy. I feel like I won't be ready for a new dog for some time, but when I am, I plan to find him through you again. Message From: Rosemary March 13, 2013 10 years ago we adopted our beautiful Golden Retriever Mix from Tails of Hope. We loved this sweet boy and recently lost him to cancer. We so appreciated Tails of Hope for allowing us to adopt/rescue this wonderful boy. We will always be grateful! Our home is empty now, but hope to adopt another soon. You do lots of good! Thank you! Message From: Christi February 13, 2013 It is because of Tails of Hope that I have my beautiful and sweet Hope. I love my furry daughter more than anything on this planet and I am so grateful to have her in my life. She has changed my life forever and each day I strive to love people in the way that she unconditionally loves me. I am getting married in December and in honor of our little love bug, we are asking our guests to donate to your organization. Without this organization, our big girl would not have received the opportunity to live and I am so thankful that you guys rescued her . Message From: Patty December 22, 2012 Rest in Peace. Nina passed away today due to kidney failure. When she was adopted from TOH Sep 2004, she was known as Tina. Thanks Anke and TOH for taking care of her till she was adopted. Message From: Mandy and Pete January 15, 2011 Over two years of sharing our lives with Miracle Max No Tail - he' still a big lug who protects his Mom and Dad and loves his big sister Laika. I add at this point Mousey Tongue the Cat still rules and keeps him in line. Thanks TOH and love from us all. Message From: Mandy and Pete Johnson March 19, 2010 Eighteen months of Max No Tail and he's still the coolest male dog on earth. Max loves to play, snuggle, sit on feet, or on your lap in thunder storms, listen to Dad playing drums, and is still protective of his Mom, Dad and Malamutant sister but remains in appropriate awe of Mousey Tongue the Cat. He is all German German Shepherd and loves us as much as we love him. What an investment - Thanks Tails of Hope or in this case Hope for Tails. Message From: John and Marilyn February 8, 2010 Kellie has been with us just about a year now and she has fit in so well. I should say that she nows runs the house. She was so easy to fall in love with from day one. She has gained quite a bit of weight and really loves running in the yard and taking long walks. We are just so blessed to have her as part of our family and thanks Tails of Hope for allowing us to adopt her. Message From: barb and dave January 21, 2010 We adopted Chloe in August 2009. She is a joy and immediately fit in with our family, including our 13 year old deaf cat. Chloe was exactly who we needed and we hope we were just what she needed as well. Thank you, Tails of Hope. Message From: donna January 18, 2010 Coby (formerly Brady) has been with us 5 days and we are so in love! he is a great little guy and he is keeping us all busy and laughing! Message From: Dana & Stacy December 14, 2009 We adopted Willie the cat in February 2009. He is a great cat and still the little devil he was when living with Anke. When he curls up in Stacy's lap at the beginning of the work day and he has been known to stay as many hours as she can stand it. He and his new step sister, Rudy, are great companions. Thanks Tails-of-Hope for the great work you do. Happy Holidays and please tell Anke that Willie is happy and healthy. Message From: Janet and David November 12, 2009 5 days with Ginger and we are completely in love! Even with all of the rain and mud...she and our other dog Zisah have become instant pals! Message From: Sue November 4, 2009 We just adopted Coco, a spaniel mix, last week. I cannot tell you how happy we are to give him a good home. He's full of personality and love. Thanks so much for allowing us to adopt such a special animal. We LOVE him!!!!!! Message From: Sean and Barb October 10, 2009 Just discovered your site and love it. The format is great, the animals beautiful and its mission vital. Thank you! Message From: Mandy and Pete Johnson October 9, 2009 Max No-Tail has just celebrated his first year with us. He's wonderful, protective, lovable with the right amount of big dog sass. Our boy is fun and enjoys playing tag with his big Malamutant sister Laika. Thanks so much Tails of Hope Max is a Maximum Treasure and we are all still thrilled to share his home!! Message From: Karen H. September 23, 2009 Just a quick Thank You. My cat, Cyduck, recently celebrated his 7th anniversary with us this past August. I brought him home when he was 4 months old and I can't imagine life without him. He is the patriarch of a small pride of house kitties (all former rescues as well), and they love him very much, as do I. Message From: Megan March 7, 2009 I found your website, and I'm a Carroll County resident. I'm so happy to know that there is an organization like you out there. :) Message From: (Private) February 15, 2009 received a call from your org checking to see how our adopted "snoopy" was doing: he is the perfect dog for us-- we renamed him Toby- he is a great companion and a wonderful pet. thanks for helping us find such a cool guy! Message From: Janie Bedrick February 7, 2009 You are doing a great Blessing helping animals Linda. Message From: Mandy December 15, 2008 We adopted Max the Tail less shepherd in October - he's wonderful and we are proud of his progress. Thanks to you he has a new start in life. Message From: Ilse Daehler December 15, 2008 We adopted Nicky almost 2 yrs ago--one of the best things we could have done for ourselves! Everywhere around the house Nicky is our shadow, following either me or my husband, watching whatever we do in the sewing room, workshop and, needless to say, in the kitchen. Especially when he knows I'm fixing a new batch of chicken stew for him. He loves his daily walks, knows the routine and route never missing when something new rises above ground level ... a bird, a squirrel and, these days, a Santa Claus in someone's yard! Once a week he loves to visit his other best friend who runs a day care camp for dogs. It gives him a chance to socialize and race around the yard. He usually comes home "dog-tired" and ready to sleep it off for the next couple of days. He's had a clean bill of health, has grown to his full size, hovering around 35 pounds. He's perfect! Many, many thanks to Tails of Hope! Message From: Sharon November 5, 2008 Wanted to thank you so much for courtesy posting "Little Max" for me. Without ever meeting me, you helped me so much by posting him. Then when I got inquiries for adoption you provided advice and counsel to me. And you did so with such compassino and caring. The web site if wonderful and I shows how much you care about the animals. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Message From: Lesley November 1, 2008 Thanks for your great infomation about finding a lost cat. Our beloved indoor only orange tabby, Hudson, got out of the house and by following your advice about using a humane trap we were able to bring him back home safely. Thanks for your reassuring, practical and useful advice! Message From: Kevin October 23, 2008 I adopted my black cat over 11 years ago, he is the best friend I ever had. I LOVE BLACK CATS!!! Message From: Karen August 30, 2008 We adopted our new dog friend Jasper(renamed Buddy) and we couldn't be happier. |
