Gina is a young (1 to 1-1/2 yr. old) German Shepherd. She looks like a purebred ? but has no papers.
She's had a rough start, but is coming along beautifully, and is spayed. She is protective of her family, but she loves to play, is well mannered in the house. Gina is very intelligent and has already learned sit and down. She would make an excellent pet for someone with patience and experience with this breed. We do not suggest Gina with small children. She is a good girl and doing so well... she just needs that special home to love her and work with her. She really wants to play with other dogs but in her foster home, the other dogs don't like her, so she spends a lot of time alone. She really does love people once she gets to know them. Does well with other dogs, best with male dogs. She needs time to warm up to strangers. She is very quiet unless aroused by lots of activity or strangers. Gina is being fostered in Staunton Va and does not do well on long car rides. We are more than happy to set up a meeting for anyone interested in meeting this lovely girl. The foster is more than happy to talk to you if interested in her.
