Print an adoption flyer for Ben!
Sweet ol' Ben came into the shelter with a pack of hunting dogs. None of them were in great shape but Ben was the worst: underweight, with overgrown nails and ripped up ears, Ben was timid and sad. Tails of Hope saw his pathetic face and decided to take him, expecting a tired, frightened old dog who would curl up and hide when he made it into his foster home. But what a surprise for his new foster parents, when Ben came home and started romping all over the yard! His tail was held high and he wagged it at his new foster friends. Ben explored for almost 2 hours before finally deciding to rest in what was probably his first fluffy bed. It's apparent that Ben has never been in a house before; he is very curious and confused by everything, especially the tv which he enjoys very much. He has a lot of manners to learn but he is very agreable and is already settling in. This guy has a lot of life left in him, and we are looking for a home where he will be loved and cared for for the rest of his days. Ben deserves so much more than life has given him- please help him learn how to be a part of a real family! Please note: Ben has a heart condition that requires him to have daily medications. They are inexpensive and he takes them nicely with wet food or pill pockets. Ben's professional photos were provided by K Pearlman Photography. More about BenGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
