Tiny the beagle is a sweet girl who has been shown little kindness in life. She came to the shelter pregnant and in poor condition; she was limping thanks to untreated Lyme disease, she was missing a good deal of fur (probably from malnutrition), and she was riddled with fleas and internal parasites. The shelter did what they could to get her healthy, but Tiny needed to get into a home quickly to rest and prepare for the birth of her babies. The litter came a few weeks later and Tiny was a wonderful mommy, but now her pups are grown and Tiny is looking for a home of her very own. So far in foster care Tiny has been enjoying being pampered and spoiled. She quickly learned that the fluffy beds could be for her, and her coat is now glossy and beautiful. Tiny does well with the dogs and cats in her home but she is happy to be offered a small space to herself; she especially likes to stay up late with her foster mom after all the other dogs are in bed. Tiny is still a little shy and will need time to adjust in her forever home. She is still leaning that people can be kind, and she will need to go to a home where her family can be understanding and patient while she learns how to fit in.
