This sweet little guy was abandoned by his family when they moved. He was terrified in the noisy shelter and was not considered a suitable candidate for adoption. After only a few hours in foster care, he had already calmed down and warmed up, snuggling and giving kisses. Gizmo continues to be shy around new people and larger dogs, but with a little patience he makes friends and shows what a nice pup he really is. Gizmo has done very well with the dogs in his foster home, and he really loves the cats (who are more his size). He has done well with house and crate training, and rides well in the car. We are working on leash walking. Gizmo has not been evaluated with children but his give-up sheet stated that he had met them before. We will not place him in a home with infants or toddlers.
