Hello, my name is Hank. I would like to give a shout out to the world of cat lovers to spread the word. I need some help in finding a home…….You see, I was picked up by a good Samaritan who found me lost, trying to find my way back home. Since then, my owner has never come looking for me, so I have finally realized that I need to hope for a new home. I have been here in my cage since June of this year. That is over 4 months !! I only want to find a loving home. Can you please help me?
I am an adult brown tabby, and already have been neutered. I am front declawed, and have already been tested for feline leukemia and aids, so I know I don’t have either of those diseases. I like to be inside, so you don’t have to worry about me trying to get out your door. I really like to play with toys on strings, and laser lights, so I would be easy to entertain. Since I am an adult I’m very docile and laid back. All I need is a sunny windowsill, and a snuggly bed.
A volunteer took me home one weekend, so I could get a break out of my cage and I did wonderfully. I used my litter box, solicited attention and loved being able to walk around and explore. I don’t need much time at all to get used to a new situation. If you have it in your heart to come and meet me, I would be greatly appreciative. If you want, you could click on “print an adoption flyer” on my web page here and post me up at your work, or your local bank or grocery store. (If they will let you) That way people can spread the word about me needing a home. I just am very sad that I’m still here, unfortunately there are so many cats outdoors that are not spayed or neutered that we have many, many, other cats here at the shelter looking for homes too. Please, contact the Howard County animal Control shelter at 410-313-2780 about low cost spay/neuter programs, if you have a pet that is not altered yet. Please help the overpopulation of pets needing homes. There just aren’t enough homes out there for all of us.
