My name is Delilah.  I am a beautiful "Golden Girl" abandoned at a shelter in MD. I'm wearing a lucky four leaf clover in hopes my luck will change! I was adopted years ago when I was just a puppy but now after 7 years I find myself surrendered to a shelter after the death of my owner. I share my sorrow with my older “sister” and best friend KC who was also adopted years ago when I came to live with my owners.  I was raised in a home and stood by my ailing owner for a year while she was ill -  she's just passed away and somehow my sister KC and I found ourselves in a shelter.  We were confused and scared and needed help.  So Tails of Hope came to not only get just one of us - but BOTH of us!    

    Won't you please find it in your heart to adopt me so that I will never end up in a shelter again. I'm so happy to be in foster care but would love long walks and cuddling on the couch with a family of my own!!!

    I know commands - "sit and down".  I love to play ball, ride well in the car, I'm housebroken, get along with kids and other dogs and am healthy to boot!
