Kane is an adorable Corgi/Terrier mix! He was seen by a Tails of Hope volunteer in a Maryland shelter - it was love at first sight. His story, like many, is a story of neglect and possible abuse - but Kane remains loving and trusting to everyone he meets.

Kane's accomplishments:

He knows basic commands, is housebroken, waits to go out the door, comes when you get his leash, walks well on a leash, loves to ride in the car and is very calm and good in the car, jumps in your lap when requested and fetches a ball nicely.

Kane’s personality and demeanor:

He is great with other dogs but fearful of cats. Kane has the sweetest disposition!

He isn't overly hyper, but playful when asked. He kind of tailors his mood to yours. He doesn't seem to be a runner at all. When getting out of the car on leash, he goes straight for the back door. Very, very smart, intuitive and trainable.

 Kane is now in a wonderful foster home showing his affections to everyone.
