This is Ahio (I-O). He has been neutered, updated on vaccines, very healthy and is desperately ready to be adopted into a permanent loving home! Ahio is a handsome, orange tabby male with golden eyes and a white belly. He is only 1 year of age.
Still such a kitten at heart, Ahio is very playful, agile, fit, intelligent, personable and so, so sweet.
He likes to talk to people and is always curious as to what someone is doing.
Ahio was picked up by the shelter after he was reported as a wounded stray. When he arrived at the shelter he was evaluated and reported to have been attacked by an unknown animal. Because of this report, Ahio was considered unadoptable by the shelter, as he would have required a 6 month quarantine and county shelters are not equipped to supply quarantines for such long periods. There was only one way Ahio could be saved and that was if
someone was willing to put him in a security cage for a six month watch. Well, that's where Tails of Hope
came in. Poor Ahio had to spend the first part of his kitten hood on the rough streets barely surviving and being attacked and then had to spend
the rest of his kitten-hood behind bars secluded in a room all alone. Lucky for him, he had the love and care of his wonderful foster parents, who volunteered to foster him for his quarantine. After his rabies watch was over, Ahio proved that his death would have been such a loss.
He is one of the most wonderful cats you will ever meet. Now he is in desperate need of a secure, ever
loving, permanent home. This babe needs some serious spoiling!!! Please adopt him!
