This is Alice, or Ally, as her foster family likes to call her. She is a beautiful brown and tan collie mix, possibly with some German shepherd, 40 pounds. She's very sweet, submissive but fun loving. She loves attention, but doesn't demand your attention when you're busy. As much as she likes being pet, she relaxes on the floor across the room, happy just to know you're there. Ally plays nicely with our dog and barely even notices our cat. She likes our kids (ages 8, 5 and 3), and is not exuberant or chasing or mouthing them. Also great is that she doesn't jump up on people, so she doesn't knock the kids down. She seems very smart, and seems to understand what people want, so she'd probably graduate at the head of her class in obedience school. Alice is housetrained, too! She doesn't bark when she needs to go out. She just nuzzles your arm and walks to the door. She is an overall great girl--lovely, sweet, good listener, gentle, smart. All this and only 8 months old--couldn't ask for much more!
