Fawn is a unique little dog with a unique  background.
She is not yet a cuddlebug, in fact, she is far from it as she was rescued along with 95 other dogs from a hoarder in Frederick, MD.

She had never been handled before and after a year in foster care, she is still leery of peoples' intentions  to pet or hold her.

On most other counts (we are still working on house-training) she is a perfect dog.  She is perfectly happy at the bottom of the dog pile-literally and figuratively as she is fine NOT being the alpha dog in a pack.  She is caring and sensitive and always making sure everyone is settled in and content.

She really would make a wonderful pet to someone who is willing to work around her idiosyncrasies and understand that time and love and patience will heal her of her few remaining foibles.
