Talaquay gave birth to five kittens on one of the coldest nights in December in the window well of a house. When she was discovered the next day the homeowner contacted Animal Control who picked up Talaquay and her kittens and brought them back to the warmth and comfort of the shelter. It was discovered that one of the kittens had frozen to death.
When her stray time was up, Talaquay and her 4 remaining babies were released to Tails of Hope, where they were fostered until the kittens were old enough, and after being spayed and neutered, they all went to permanent homes.
