Delightful Delilah This happy, healthy, housebroken girl is a gem! Although blind in one, eye, likely due to an earlier trauma that was not treated, she's a very happy dog who doesn't let this little problem get in her way. Like most beagles she's prone to laziness and overindulging, and she has become quite overweight because of that. But she's now on a strict diet and is regularly walking through the neighborhood with obvious joy. She would love to be your walking partner! Delilah is great with other dogs, cats and children. Although she can be a tiny bit timid and may shy away from fast movements she is incredibly gentle, even living with a very loud and demanding 19 month old boy who insists on touching her, pulling her fur, riding her and/or sleeping on her from dawn to dusk. She's equally good with her beagle housemate as well as the local cat. Although she can bay quite loudly when walking if she detects a scent she's very calm and quite in the house. At night Delilah is content to sleep on a dog bed on the floor, though she prefers snuggling in bed and under the covers if allowed. Similarly she'd love to snuggle next to you on the sofa if given the chance. Delilah is a great example of why every family needs a beagle. Is your family ready for Delilah?
