Bailey was trapped and brought into the local shelter as a stray and the trauma of being trapped made him very shy and cautious. After Bailey's stray time at the shelter was up, Tails of Hope was asked to take him in so that he could be in a loving environment and learn to trust again. It took many weeks for Bailey to come and sit next to his foster mom and be petted. He is still very shy around strangers; however, once he knows you, he will come up to you and ask for attention and loving by meowing. He is getting better in being held and stroked. Loud noises and fast movement still frighten him and he will hide for a while. He would do best in a quiet home with a kitty companion and a person with a lot of patience. If you are interested in seeing Bailey, please contact his foster mom or fill out an online application. Bailey is being fostered in the Columbia area. More about BaileyGood with Dogs, Good with Cats
