Auggie was found wandering, alone, and hungry along side a road, waiting patiently for the people he trusted to come back for him. He was so wrong. They were not coming back A good samaritan took him in to keep him from being hit by the cars he was so carefully and hopefully checking as they went by. Now he has food and shelter, but what this very young dog needs is a family to love. His labrador retriever heart is overflowing with the desire to be a family dog. He loves the entire world, people of all sizes, children, even cats. He is intelligent and learns new behaviors quickly and easily. As with his breed, he is very eager to please and if you can let him know what you want from him, he will do it instantly. He loves to cuddle and his foster says one of Auggie's greatest joys is to roll over and have his tummy rubbed. He is a playful, joyful dog with an outgoing personality. Just to be around him makes the world a happier place. Not only does he want to be a family dog, but he will be the very best of family dogs! He is currently living with several other dogs and gets along very well with all of them, even the bossy ones. He would be a perfect companion to a dog you might already have that would like a friend. Auggie is an easy dog to love and will be your loyal companion for all of his life. He is healthy, vetted, and we have had him neutered and brought him up to date on all his shots, just for you! Come see Auggie and fall in love!
