Donna is a beautiful medium sized German Shepherd, with a sweet puppy face.  She will make a wonderful dog for anyone.  You can take her anywhere.  In the car she lies down in the back seat so she doesn’t bother you while you are driving.  She is curious and friendly to everyone she meets including children.  

At first she was shy, trying to figure out her place in this new world outside of a kennel. Then one day it all suddenly “clicked” for Donna she suddenly turned into a regular dog.  Now that she has turned into regular dog she is showing how curious she is, always right next to you wanting to know what everything is and everything you are doing.  She gives little kisses, pushes the other 2 dogs out of the way to get to you for affection, and gets excited about going for walks.  She is loose in the house 24/7, she hasn’t ever bothered or chewed anything even while I am at work all day.

Donna has a blast playing with other dogs.  She is still overly curious about cats; she will chase them if they run.  However, my cats have laid down right under her nose until she starts to annoy them in a manner of trying to figure them out rather than aggression.  I just go AHH! and she backs off.  She hasn’t hurt them, they lived to intrigue Donna another day.

She still has some things to learn in her new world.  No matter what home she ends up in she will start out nervous but will quickly gain confidence to become the perfect family dog.
