Watson is a very sweet puppy, with lots of energy and love. He has been making steady progress with his foster family over the past few weeks and is becoming more comfortable around people, including children, although he can still be startled by sudden noises or movements. He loves to run and play with his foster's 3yr old Lab mix and would make a great companion for any dog. He is quickly learning some basic commands and leash-walking and would gain much needed confidence in obedience classes (one class is required for adoption). He probably would excel in agility training since he enjoys chasing balls and racing around the yard with his 'resident brother'. We do require a fenced-in yard for Watson and that he be left alone no more than 3-4 hours during the day. He currently is crated overnight and for 2-3 hours a few days a week. If you have the time and commitment to work with Watson, we know that he will repay you a thousand-fold with his loyalty and love We will only consider homes with another dog, no young children, a fenced yard (not invisible fencing), and someone who is home a lot.
