Description: Maxie is a baby in need. She was surrendered by her owner who did not want her. She has never known what it is like to be loved and wanted. She is coming out of her shell and a real cuddler. Loves playing with the other dogs and even my difficult Corgi can't help but like her because she is so much fun and as submissive as I could ever hope.She is doing pretty good with potty training but has had a couple of accidents which is expected at her age. She is young and just learning. She ignores the cats so they won't be an issue at all. She is really just a terrific dog in every way..............no issues....ok well maybe a few she loves to chew and especially clothes so we have to watch her closely as she'll go get the dirty clothes out of the hamper and drag them around to eventually chew on them. Oops! But she's a puppy so chewing is to be expected . She's probably the best foster I've ever had! She will make someone one terrific pet but would love to have a foster brother or sister as they seem to boost her confidence greatly!
EXTRA UPDATE FOR MAXIE; I can tell you after watching her and getting to know her she is definitely a large large part border collie. She does all the things border collies do and more. She will be the best agility dog "ever" as she can jump 5 feet off the ground and can turn on a dime going top speed. I really wish someone looking for an agilty dog would get her as I am absolutely certain she might be the best one ever. She is super smart and needs a job and with a piece of kibble, learns a trick in about 5 minutes. I'm telling you.......with a person willing to train her, she will exceed any dog I have ever had. Sure wish I could be that person. I am going to have more time in the near future and am going to work with her, and should have her ready for a circus act in a few more weeks!
